Crissy Lauterbach is the Innovative Teaching and Learning Coordinator for Butler Tech in Hamilton, Ohio. In 1994, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She completed her graduate work in Educational Leadership and Curriculum at the University of Dayton and earned a masters in administration. She is currently completing her doctorate at Miami University.
Being a 30-year veteran educator, Crissy was the keynote speaker for the Department of Defense Schools’ International Future Educators Association in Garmisch, Germany, Tedx Yearling, and the Anthony Munoz Foundation’s Youth Summit. She was also the Teacher Ambassador at South Craven School in Yorkshire, England. In 2014, she became the first National Advisor in Residence for Educators Rising.
In 2015, Crissy was named a White House Innovator for her work in Teacher’s Academy and Educators Rising. Her awards include: Ohio Teacher of the Year Semifinalist, Leavey Award Winner, Tri-state Educator of the Year, the Wooster Excellence in Education Award, the ACTE Community Service Educator of the Year for Region 1, and the inaugural winner of the Erin Young Award for honoring student voice in her classroom. Tisha Richmond is a high school culinary arts teacher, author, podcast host, and Canva Education Specialist based in Southern Oregon. With over 30 years in Career and Technical Education and experience as a Tech Integration Specialist, she brings creativity, innovation, and joy to education.
Tisha is the author of Make Learning MAGICAL, co-author of the EduProtocol Companion Guide, and co-writer of the children’s book Dragon Smart (with her son, Tommy), each crafted to spark playful and engaging learning for students and educators.
Her distinguished recognitions include the Medford School District’s Golden Pear Educator Secondary Teacher Award, the first-place Henry Ford Innovation Nation Educator Award, and the 2025 Distinguished Service Award from Oregon Family & Consumer Sciences.
